The C-Class was unveiled in June 1997, and in the four years since the beginning of series production over one million units rolled off the production line, with a revised design, even more extensive standard equipment and more modern technology. The revision included redesigned front and rear bumpers, rocker panels in the vehicle colour with a sporty design, dark-tinted tail lamps and a slightly modified radiator grille. In the interior, newly developed door trim and seat covers provide extra comfort. With the miniature model in die-cast zinc, the C-Class now also enriches hobby collections. Created using the original CAD data and finished in an authentic paintwork colour shade, the hand-assembled precision model impresses with its level of detail. The doors, bonnet and tailgate can be opened, allowing closer inspection of the car’s interior. The model is supplied in Mercedes-Benz Classic packaging. In addition to a screwdriver for easy removal of the model from the packaging, a glove is also included to protect against fingerprints.
